Parking is FREE for CCAE Theatricals patrons in the North West Lot of the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. 

Our large parking lot is located at the corner of Escondido Boulevard and Woodward Avenue. ​

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

The Center is dedicated to making the arts accessible to all.

We offer the following accommodations for accessible needs patrons:

​

• The Passenger Loading Zone offers a convenient drop-off spot adjacent to the main entrances of both theaters.

• Ushers are happy to assist patrons by providing wheelchair service from the Passenger Loading Zone into the Concert Hall or Center Theater lobbies. Please call the box office (800-988-4253) to arrange this in advance.

DROP OFF LOCATION FOR ACCESS, UBER, LYFT & TAXIS

There is an accessible drop off location at the Passenger Loading Zone adjacent to the main entrances of both theaters.

This is where ride-share services can drop off guests.

WALKING PATH FROM THE NORTH WEST LOT

There is a paved walking path from the parking lot across the campus up to the Theatre. The walk is 0.5 miles and flat.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

ARRIVE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The Sprinter light rail and Breeze bus systems have stops at the Escondido Transit Center

(located about a half mile from the Center), and the Breeze has numerous routes and bus stops on the Downtown Escondido

streets that surround the Center.
